Yes, my heart goes out to the Wilson family.
Owen Wilson will now and forever remind me of the classic lines from the Smokey Robinson song Tears of a Clown.
"well they're some sad things known to man
but ain't too much sadder than
the tears of a clown when there's no one around"

That's very sad that the Owen brothers have to deal with this publicly. I hope Owen recovers and gets over that bitch Kate.

Yeah I feel sorry for his family, they're the ones really suffering. Owen is a selfish pig to hurt the people who love him!! Fucking coward!!

Gosh, I can't get over had sad this has been. I have always liked the Wilson Brothers and you know all those brothers were extremely close.
I can't imagine how this whole family is coping with this incident. All this makes me want to cry. It's just so devestating when things like that happen.
They should be able to have the privacy they deserve. That makes me sick they have to take pictures of this..this poor family has just been through hell..they don't want a picture/media frenzy!!!

I don't care about any of them, but for those who do, the next logical step is to ask a ban on the Owen stories on this forum - case closed

While I agree that suicide is an extremely selfish thing to do, I think you have no idea what it feels like to be so overcome by life's problems that in those few horrible moments none of it seems worth it anymore. I have to fight feelings like this all too regularly. Yes, I know how many people I would hurt if I did something like that, but sometimes it takes all of your will and good sense to just not take the easy way out.

I agree. I never used to be too sympathetic until we had one of my daughters boyfriend stay with us for awhile. He was going through an awful time and I could see the pain he was suffering on his face. It was hard to watch him. He eventually did kill himself and though we all grieved horribly we at least felt he was out of the horrible pain he lived with everyday. It was a mental pain that almost seemed physical.

See I am lucky that for me it's not an everyday thing.... It's just brief periods where I am affected, otherwise I am fairly normal and functioning (although another part of my problem is that I will try to ignore my problems and when I force myself or am forced to confront them, that is often what triggers my episodes).

This morning one of Australia's morning shows Sunrise, had a psychologist assess Owens situation .. I was quite disturbed while watching a so-called health professional pass opinion on someone she hadn't treated, nor does she personally know. After assessing the situation and giving her diagnosis of someone she knows absolutely nothing about personally, this woman and the two hosts are saying that they hope the media respect his privacy (as per his wishes) ... They devoted a whole segment to him with a psychologist and then they ask the media respect his wishes!! Pffft.
The media are so invasive, to the point they pay psychologists to come in and mumble, it's disgusting and makes me feel sickly for indulging in it. I sincerely hope they do leave Owen alone for a period of time so he can recover.

That picture of Luke Wilson breaks my heart. Just wish the media would leave them alone.
