^ Apparently it was George's code name. Who knows?

This is quite interesting (not royal) -

Anyway, I've found something to agree with Sput on this topic - I don't like the name either!

fascinating. some of the names a little wtf
poor edith wilson's code name was "Grandma"
    rose kennedy was "coppertone"
LBJ's daughters were "velvet" and "venus" which sound kind of porny and the gore kids were 'smurfette', 'screwdriver' and 'shortstop'
I checked and karen pence's is "Hummingbird", not "Mother". I'm disappointed.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are mocked online after failing to register website for their Archewell charitable foundation - which is snapped up by cyber-squatters who send visitors to Kanye West's Gold Digger

    • Fans who type in www.archewellfoundation.com will be redirected to YouTube
    • Automatically plays music video to Kanye West's Gold Digger feat. Jamie Foxx
    • Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they are launching Archewell this week
    • But they failed to register a website and the domain name was snapped up

Meghan and Harry have been mocked online after failing to register a website for their new Archewell charitable foundation which has instead been snapped up by cyber-squatters.
Fans who type in www.archewellfoundation.com are unwittingly diverted to a YouTube video of Kanye West's 2005 Gold Digger hit featuring Jamie Foxx.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they are launching a new charitable foundation named Archewell earlier this week but apparently failed to register the likely domain name.
A number of eagle-eyed social media users spotted the embarrassing blunder, with one writing on Twitter: 'Uh oh. As of 7 April, if you enter in archewellfoundation.com in your browser, it actually links to Kanye West's - Gold Digger video on YouTube.'

A possible URL for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's new Archewell charitable foundation website is redirecting fans to a YouTube video of Kanye West's Gold Digger

Another tweeted: 'So. Meghan and Harry leave the UK to raise their son in privacy. They move to LA. No we aren't going to launch a foundation. 2 wks later they announce The Archewell Foundation. If u type archewellfoundation.com YouTube plays Golddigger by Kanye West. Hilarious. 10/10.'

This is a reason to “mock” them? Who are these losers?

Her green outfit is nice. Especially the hat. I hope they are making the right decision for their sake and the sake of the baby. I think that Harry has wanted to break free for a while now, even before he met Meghan.

Wouldn't a charitable organisation be a .org instead of a .com?

Yes, it would, if this is a true nonprofit, but its standard practice to buy all the other related domains to prevent confusion, squatting, satire, etc.

so if you go to buckinghampalace.com, you get redirected here: ZeroFat Domain Name Classifieds - Buy & Sell Domain Names
kensingtonpalace.com goes to a similar site.
headstogether.com (heads together is the mental health charity set up by the younger royals) is some kind of human resources company.
isn't it supposed to be common practice to purchase all similar organisation names?

where are the daily mail articles about how the queen, and bill and cathy, are being mocked for their faux pas?

They couldn't come up with something more creative than Gold Digger? I have a perverse soft spot for that song, but I don't think it applies here, but I think it's also because it helps that Meghan did actually make her money at one point, and arguably even now, and would probably be able to do so in the future.

She could make some money, obviously, but they needed a plan which was not sketched on the back of an envelope and mainly reliant on Daddy and Mummy's money (and possibly Great-Granny's too.) It's hard to see what Harry brings to the table other than a name.

    Inevitably, they've been trolled again:
