it's funny, i'm having this mental image of you as the kid who told on everyone

in my case i wouldn't put my hand to the fire on nothing racist having ever crossed my lips. i don't remember saying anything but i grew up in the 90s and early 2000s and given the edgy humour that was big back then, and the wildly inappropriate shit my friends and i would joke about, i wouldn't be surprised if some casually racist shit i would cringe at today came out of my mouth. none of us would have called it racism back in the day, or considered it racist, but times change.

    Teacher's pet? Are you crazy?

OK, my lips are sealed about you then. And no, we can't get a room.

This thread has come full circle and I love to see it!

See, we may fight but we eventually make up. Even our heated debates about attention seeking, lawsuit happy Megs, balding/possibly cheating Will, former possible racist “what Meghan wants Meghan gets!” Harry, and dull, lazeabout Kate can’t stop our GR love!

There I was *almost* feeling sorry for Meghan being married to an alleged racist and a drunk with an enormous sense of entitlement but apparently it's OK if you're young and stupid? Those mothers and protection officers didn't seem to think so but Charles, as we know, was busy elsewhere.

After his own mother's death, it seems sad that he was raised by wolves/boarding school and he hasn't had a great outcome so far.

I mean, he's someone who can (sort of) read a script which likely wasn't even written by him and someone who is willing to turn up to events and continue to be famous, while supposedly hankering after a private life in the middle of LA where the red carpet beckons.

It's all very messed up to me, rather like Harry.
For a second I thought you were referring to the Queen Mum.

So true. It would have to include food as well and I just thought of the avocado toast, so we're good.

Meghan Markle names in court papers the five friends behind that People article about her father but denies she authorised them to do it - and claims she was 'unprotected by the Institution' of the Royal Family while she was pregnant

The Duchess of Sussex has identified the five close friends who gave an interview to People magazine criticising her father - but denies she authorised them to do it in the latest bombshell documents released as part of her High Court battle against the Press. Meghan Markle is suing MailOnline's owner Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) over an article in The Mail On Sunday which reproduced parts of a handwritten note she had sent to her father Thomas Markle in August 2018. The 38-year-old has also claimed she felt 'unprotected' by the 'institution' of the Royal Family and could not defend herself against false claims levelled against her, which highlights divisions between the Cambridge and Sussex households before she stepped down as a senior royal with Prince Harry in March in what was dubbed 'Megxit'. ANL has said Mr Markle shared the letter only after Meghan's friends - who could be called to give evidence at a possible trial in late 2020 or early 2021 - gave an interview about it to the US magazine People, which he felt vilified him, and he wanted to show it was not the tender message they had suggested.
