I think Alan Rickman would be a kickass King of Hearts.

I think Alice should be an unknown for sure. It ruins the magic for me when these types of roles go to well known actors.

I wonder if Manson would allow her to stay up past her bedtime to make this movie?

I agree with Evan Rachel Wood. She's actually supposed to be playing Alice in Phantasmagoria; the Visions of Lewis Caroll which is written by Manson.
Otherwise Michelle Trachtenberg with blonde hair.

Lindsay Lohan wants to be Alice in Wonderland
Lindsay Lohan is desperate to star in a new adaptation of ‘Alice in
Wonderland’.
The actress is hoping to convince director Tim Burton to cast her in the
hotly-anticipated version of Lewis Carroll’s classic children’s tale.
Lindsay said: “ I just hope they don’t want an unknown, I really want this
part.”
The new Disney production will feature both live action and
performance-capture animation to create the fantasy world.
Although it is a daunting task, Burton believes he is ready to take on the
challenge.
He said: " It's just such a classic, and the imagery is so surreal. I don't
know - I've never seen a version where I feel like they got it all. It's a
series of weird adventures, and to try to do it where it works as a movie
will be interesting.
" The stories are like drugs for children, you know? It's like, 'Whoa, man.’
I think it's an interesting challenge to direct."
‘Alice in Wonderland’ follows the story of a young girl who enters a bizarre
fantasy world after following a white rabbit down a hole. She then
encounters a series of wondrous characters, including the Mad Hatter and the
Queen of Hearts.
