^I just finished that book! Loved it.
I do agree with her re. women being really judgmental toward one another. Sometimes as a woman it feels like you can't win, guys judge you based on your looks and so do women.

The cool thing is, this is one thread in which we HAVE to be nice to one another, or we'll be proving Lily Allen right. And no one wants that.

I agree she's not wrong about that in a general sense but she kind of ruins it with this, imo:
a) just plain cunty, not displaying good sisterly love!Every man I speak to always says they find that kind of woman gross...
2) is she really doing that thing where she asks whatever guy she's with, "do you think she's pretty?"
Many women have stopped "being so horrible to each other," but it doesn't sound like Lily's one of them. She's seemingly happy to perpetuate some very base stereotypes without doing much to try to change them.
If you reveal your secrets to the wind you should not blame the wind for revealing them to the trees.
