So sad. We've been reminiscing here in my office since we heard.

I actually screamed when I saw the headline. Spock was the hero of my childhood. He wrote poetry and I really like this one:

    A silence with you
    Is not
    a silence
    But a moment rich
    with peace
    ~Leonard Nimoy (1931-2015)

    Rest in peace.

Aww, shoot. He and DeForest Kelly were my favorite Star Trek actors. A friend and I used to pretend all the time when we were 8-12 and we always regretted that Star Trek came out when we outgrew that. She would have been Spock and I would have been McCoy. We would have added characters and had a real blast.
Live on and prosper, Mr. Spock!

A part of my geeky life is gone, and it's such a shame. I know Mr. Bombshell will come home totally bummed out too.

You'll be well missed, Mr. Nimoy.

Aw man, I was always picked on back in Elementary school because I had a crush on Spock while everyone else liked Chekov or Kirk. RIP Mr. Nomoy. I will always love you.

I loved him as Spock but the more I read and heard about him, the more I loved him as a person.

Rip or or perhaps live long and prosper, my friend.

RIP Mr Nimoy/Mr Spock.. you truly were a "Fascinating" man.

Leonard had been involved with so many awesome projects throughout his life.

One of my favorite TV shows growing up was a documentary program called 'In Search Of'.. it looked at mysteries and paranormal activities around the world.. Leonard narrated each show and his voice was so perfect for the program.

Also he narrated a very obscure video game called 'SeaMan'.. which involved you interacting with a fish that had a mans face.. haha.

And Mr Spock was so awesome in my favorite Star Trek ep 'The Trouble with Tribbles'.. so cute.

My thoughts are with Leonard's family and friends.

    Miss you already, Leonard

(Thanks A*O.. got my Spock's mixed up)

He was MR Spock, not to be confused with Dr Benjamin Spock, a US paediatrician who wrote a book about baby wrangling in the 1940s and followed by many new mothers. Advice included "mothers know more than they think they do". Amen.
