again, who cares? is being educational the only reason to write about something? also, it's only lurid to you because you're reading into it with your adult eyes and making it lurid. same as those conservative bloggers and writers projecting their adult, sexualised viewpoint onto children.

and besides, i think it's been established at this point that lena's an attention whore, but at least she's an attention whore who got famous by writing and starring in her own movie, and then tv show, by the time she was 25, and not by starring in a 'leaked' sex tape or because she banged someone famous.

And I don't understand why considering what she wrote TMI means I want to control what she writes about? She can write about whatever she wants, and I can consider it TMI if I want to. Freedom of expression goes both ways and it does not mean I want to censor her or anyone else.

Also it is not lurid to me, it is objectively sensationalized to sell the book, in a sea of crowded autobiographies. There are plenty of other examples. She's not the only one to throw in salacious details because that is what sells. It's even better now that there is a storm about it because she will sell 51 copies instead of 50. But if you want to read about that kind of thing, I doubt this book will be enlightening. Pulp factoids.
