Any wonder she's raising her kid to be a total brat?

god her husband is such a guido.
and they're both retarded...kids WANT guidance and boundaries, or at least NEED them.

6-7 bottles a NIGHT? Holy crap. My daughter Summer is 10 months old and only gets 1 bottle at night!

Leah sounds like a dumb, indulgent bitch.

True story. I was at a backyard barbeque in England, just sitting there, having a beer, minding my own business, when the host's 4 year old son, who was running around naked because he didn't feel like wearing clothes...this kid is running around the patio and just starts peeing. Just like a goat, he didn't even pause or nuthin'...just kept right on running and peeing like a feral boy or something.

    Everyone just dropped their jaws.

    Except mom, of course.

He couldn't get into kindergarten because he was not potty trained. Teachers do not change diapers. So, she had to train him...at age 5.

    Okay, that's just fucked up.

What the fuck is it with these parents who don't teach their kids the basics?

Hell, I was potty trained by the time I was two... and according to my mom and grandma? I trained MYSELF. I just sat on my cool new potty chair for hours until I went, and bingo, haven't wet the bed but once in my life.

    Don't remember much on the bottle, though. I still remember sucking on one when I was three. Ish. >_>;

Some kids wet the bed or their pants and can't help it. It just takes some longer because their muscles aren't ready yet, but in Leah's kid's case, of course she's gonna pee giving her so much to drink at night!

I don't think I've even heard of an infant who takes 6 or 7 bottles per night.

Maybe Leah tried to have her daughter potty trained at one time, but the girl fell in the toilet and got traumitized?

^ Well... Leah's daughter isnt an infant, and I agree - that is WAY too much liquid.

And I remember reading an article when my son was born about bed-wetting (but since the medical field is ALWAYS changing it's "facts" - who knows). Apparently if ONE of the child's parents was a bed wetter, which my son's father was (yea.. until he was 13), the child is 48% likely to have the same problems. If both parents had problems with bed wetting, the child is 98% likely to have problems.

Which makes sense either physically or that at least one or both parents may not know the proper techniques to teach the child to be potty trained. Not to excuse Leah, because it seems clear that she wants to hear what she wants to hear - which is that she is doing everything right.

I think a lot of women fail to cut the cord and actually encourage their 'babies' to continue with diapers, bottles, etc etc because of their self-appointed status as "Mother/Martyr". I bet if Leah had another baby she'd have #1 princess off bottles and on the potty before she knew what hit her.

This is a job for Nanny 911! She'll set them straight!

That is until she points out that Scientology is a load of 'rubbish', and gets disconnected. Then things will be worse than before. It only goes to show what upper class Brits have known for generations - that raising children is too important to be left to the parents!
