What's with the possessed expression in her old pics?
I think she needs to put those away altogether. Gross.

It's not really appropriate to be 83 yo and showing a ton of cleavage. It's sort of gross, imo. And although talented, I wouldn't call her a beauty, even when she was young.
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
Lauren Bacall made a career out of having a look that was not the 'norm' for beauty at the time. They left her eyebrows thick, her hairline low and allowed her look to be darkly dramatic, which was far different from the other young starlets her age. Even before she was strongly backed by her studio and taught, word for word, how to be a sexy ingenue, she pounded the pavement in NewYork and only took to modeling when the acting jobs weren't bountiful (and really, would they be for a young know-nobody Jewish girl without classic beauty)
As for the possessed look she's giving..that is 'the' look which made her a star in the Big Sleep, which was actually born out of her being terrified to work with such a big star like Bogart (whom she was crushing on) in her first motion picture. She was so nervous, she kept looking down, then up at him, trying to be a seductress(as the script and character called for) while at the same time being frightened. The look was so different and enchanting that the audiences fell in love with her. She was asked to reproduce 'the look' time and time again.

While I agree she wasn't necessarily a 'traditional' beauty...she was still quite attractive.
And for 83 or however old she is...her and her boobs do not look bad.
I've seen 20 and 30 year old women with their boobies hanging out in skanky outfits that sagged and looked worse than Lauren at 80 something!
The brain doesn't need blood. It just needs to be kept wet.
me thinks she should consider cutting her hair off, tucking the boobs back into her socks and learning how to dress in a way that isn't bordering into dangerous camel toe territory.
With that said she looks healthy and im glad to see that at least some of the people i love from that era are still alive.

She was very beautiful when she was young. I read her autobiography about her life with Bogie many years ago. It was a very interesting read. She is "old Hollywood" when it was at its most glamorous.

Lauren Bacall is a living legend, I say more power to her if she feels like airing her cleavage.
At her age it's too much hanging out. The withered age spots are not sexy. Of course you can find clothing that doesn't expose so much.
I love her voice, its quite unique. As for the boobs, while they dont look bad, its just plain weird to see a woman of advanced age showing them off.
My goal is to be happy with my life.
ya know? i dont give a shit what she looks like. she's been a class act all of her life, i think she's lovely.

The camel toe bothers me more than the cleavage.
I think once you get to, oh, about 70, you can do whatever the hell you want and get away with it.
I don't think she looks great here, but still.
