Eh. There's more to it than that, but I don't remember the details.

I like Hillary and think she's the strongest candidate running. We will never have a female president if we keep thinking America isn't ready.

YEAH!!
We women have been way too addicted to the approval of men. We don't have to let the men (and male-enabling women) who dislike Hillary keep us from doing what we choose.
Let the haters hate. That's what they do best. It's time we women stood up for what we believe in. And actually put our votes where our mouths are. No amount of aren't-women-great rhetoric and posturing can replace one single decisive action.
It takes nerves of steel to do what Hillary is doing. Call her what you will, but this woman has guts and determination and tenacity. And a time will come when most women, conservative or otherwise, will realize that she is a true pioneer who broke down many boundaries for other women to follow in the path she is creating now.

Go ahead, yell at me. I don't want to vote in this election. I want to vote FOR someone I want to be president, not vote because it's against someone else.
Right now, they all look like clowns and no one seems to be presidential material. I voted against Reagan and the Bushes.
The only interesting thing to me is that if Hillary gets into the White House, it will be history making. The First Gentleman was the President sort of thing.

it's fine not to vote, so long as you don't complain about who gets elected later (not you personally chalet, I just mean in general)

Not complain? No fun in that!
I have a thing for Bill Clinton's hands. Is that a good reason to vote for Hillary considering that my heart isn't in this election?

And to most of 'middle America' she's just too divisive and I dont think she can win a national election.
However, Obama + Edwards is nearly unbeatable from that standpoint. Edwards is the 'safe' white Southern male candidate that makes Obama safer. That who my money is on, in any order: Edwards and Obama.

I think what hurts Obama is his race, to an extent, plus his lack of experience. And then you have the idiots that say his name sounds too much like Osama Bin Ladin, or that because he had some Muslim education as a child then he's wrong to be President.
As far as Edwards goes, what hurts him are his looks. He's too much of a pretty boy and some people tend to think that looks equal dumb.
And as much as some people hate Hillary, she's the only one that has some White House experience out all the candidates, Dems or Republicans. She was in the White House for eight years as the First Lady, and she knows, firsthand, how the Washington power landscape works. You're going to need somebody with that knowledge to fix the mess that Bush created.

I think Obama has some of what it takes to be a President, but not just yet. He's still a little green. He'd be better off as Vice-President for a while, and then once he's got some more political experience under his belt then he can take on the Oval Office.

While I think it's fantastic that America is ready for its first black MALE president, it makes me very sad that women of any colour are still discriminated against for a position like this. I know I'm a hopeless idealist but maybe the BEST person for the job should get it.

I think a lot of people don't want Hilary because they think it would really be Bill running things again. Which doesn't say much for current thinking that women can really run anything other than a household.
