Kris Jenner Death Threats Spark FBI Raid

So what am I missing that makes everyone say it false?

I'm confused. This person let their friend use their computer, and this friend used the computer just to make death threats to Kris/the fam?
There's just a lot of questions I have after reading the full story:

1. These "death threats" were made over the course of 8 months, and they're just now investigating/arresting someone? It's fairly easy, especially for law enforcement, to find IP addresses, link IP's to emails, and then figure out where the threats were coming from, why wait 8 months?

2. IF this story is true, and this person let their friend use the computer, wouldn't this person eventually see in one way or another what their friend was doing on their computer? (i.e. going through the computer's history logs or, question why the computer's history is/always was erased - if the friend was trying to be sneaky about it).


I sincerely hope this isn't Kris just trying to get a storyline. But for some reason, it sounds so contrived to me.
