I guess this issue is clearly a very big deal to Japanese people and people of Japanese descent. I don’t really understand the issue, but I won’t judge whether other people can be offended about something regarding a special or important part of their culture. I don’t think Kim meant any harm at all and the name was probably a play on her own name, but intent isn’t always the issue. You can offend people without having any intent to. It was nice of her to change the name, though.

I think that the Japanese are a big market for her & feel totally cynical about her changing the name.

Its also not the first time that she’s had to change the name of a product - her cosmetics were very similar to an already established brand & sued her.

Kim looks like Madonna with hips. Not a compliment.

The photos of Kourtney on the pool table crack me up for some reason. She looks ridiculous. They aren't artfully posed or anything. Just plopped herself down.

They've been trying to make her "sexy" for a while. But she looks like a bitter bot from within. Imo.

I can't believe Kim's smiling. Her purse is idiotic though.

^Her Botox must be wearing off.
I hate saying this, but she looks better like that. It’s better than a frozen non expressive face.

Kim looks younger in these pictures, perhaps because she IS smiling. Kylie, on the other hand, looks older than her years because she looks so wide in that picture on the car.

This is an old picture, but can someone please explain why these morons always white out their eyes? I've seen the whole family do it and I don't get what it's meant to achieve. I mean other than being out and proud demonic forces.

^I know that happened a lot back in the day when people were on E. No clue why they do it on purpose. It’s stupid.

LOL, putting the E in E! I guess. They might be more palatable if they were on E...or we all were, I'm not sure which.

That guy is Chris Appleton, a hairdresser, and that's all I know about him. I doubt his eyes glow white IRL.

Kim Kardashian West Interviewed by Kanye West For Her First Vogue Arabia Cover

    by ALEXANDRIA GOUVEIA

The September issue of Vogue Arabia invites you into the surreal world of Kim Kardashian West, with the entrepreneur and reality TV queen starring in her first-ever cover story for the magazine. The shoot is accompanied by a refreshingly honest interview by her husband, rapper and designer Kanye West.

In a world-exclusive production, the supercharged, superstar cover features iconic designer Manfred Thierry Muglerleading the art direction, styling fashion’s most controversial star in vintage archive pieces as well as three looks by Casey Cadwallader for Thierry Mugler that reveal the continuity of the French house. Mugler, who previously worked with Kardashian West for the 2019 Met Gala, designing her infamous “wet dress,” was excited to work with the star again. “I love working with Kim,” he says. “She is cool and brilliant. When Vogue Arabia asked me to take part, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to portray Kim in a new vision. It was a great team to work with.”
“The shoot and interview reveal a side to Kim Kardashian that many have never seen before,” adds Vogue Arabia Editor-in-Chief Manuel Arnaut. “Her interview with Kanye West is both real and raw, as she talks personally about her career and family life. It was inspiring to assemble this unique level of talent.”
“For a magazine that is still barely two years old, we were both thrilled and honored to also have Thierry Mugler and Kanye West taking part in this issue,” Arnaut continues. “The star power reinforces the work of Vogue Arabia in delivering striking, groundbreaking content to our audience, both regional and global.”

The cover story was shot in the Los Angeles desert by photographer Txema Yeste, with the project overseen by Vogue Arabia Fashion Director Katie Trotter.
In her one-on-one interview with her Grammy award-winning husband, Kardashian West dispels many of the misconceptions she has faced in her career, including being underestimated. The star – who is currently studying law and who has successfully worked with the US government on criminal justice issues – reveals in the interview, “There is a misconception that I don’t actually have to study and that I’ve bought my way into getting a law degree – that’s absolutely not true… Being underestimated and over-delivering is my vibe.”

On the lessons she wishes to share with her audience, she keeps it simple: “I try to be a good person and to take my mistakes and make them into a better experience — to learn and grow from them and move on.” On her first proper date with West she adds, “I was like, ‘Damn, why did I waste so much time and energy? Why didn’t I do this sooner?’”

Kim Kardashian West and husband Kanye West are serious couple goals in the September cover story of Vogue Arabia

As one of the most followed celebrities on social media and with an estimated net worth of US $370 million, Kardashian West is all too aware of the pressure she’s under to be a responsible role model for young people, though admits she only felt the pressure recently. “I never felt the responsibility of being a role model until I had kids,” she says.

On living in the limelight she says, “Even in my darkest of times I don’t regret putting myself out there for the world to see. People have shared with me over the years how much it has helped them to feel less alone when dealing with their own adversity. I love having a voice and I appreciate the platform that I have been given, even though I do wish I could have more privacy at times.”
In the candid interview West puts his wife on the spot, asking her opinion on money and fame. “Money was always the goal but I was obsessed with fame, like, embarrassingly obsessed… I do agree that fame can be addictive,” she admits.

West also, controversially, asks her to pick her favorite sister. “It changes, just like friends or relationships go in and out. I think this year has been a really strong Kim and Khloé year,” she reveals. “I’m obviously so close with Kendall and Kylie too but I’ve spent so much more time on this earth with Kourtney and Khloé – 16 and 17 years longer with them. We have more history, have been through so much together, and we have more friends in common. Kourtney and I will always be really close, but this year, Khloé and I really bonded.”

The Vogue Arabia September issue is a bumper edition, which showcases the fashion and beauty industry’s biggest players, with exclusive interviews, shoots, and features.
