If this is true, I'm so glad it came out. I now want to visit Rhode Island and pointedly not eat at that restaurant. Unfortunately, the only person I know there are the buddies of the fucker who stole my cellphone and called there last month sticking me with the bill. I could call them and tell them to boycott it but I don't think they can afford it anyway...

about the incident: while kevin spacey is a huge asshole, it's the manager's/owner's fault that the waiter got fired and not kevin's.
i don't know about the employment protection in the USA, but maybe he can sue...

What a shitty manager. You make the waiter try to stop a customer from breaking the law (the manager should have done this himself), and when the customer reacts rudely, you fire the waiter.
Spacey is a psycho. He didn't get this guy fired, though.
