Thank you! That's what I'm thinking. Girls in their late teens and twenties cannot afford Estee Lauder. Let's look at some of the former faces of Estee Lauder:

Before you can judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? He's a mile away and you've got his shoes. - Billy Connolly
Girls in their teens may not be able to afford good makeup on their own, but many have parents that can and do buy it for them.
And in their 20's many women are already making a good salary and can certainly afford it.
All of God's children are not beautiful. Most of God's children are, in fact, barely presentable.

^^^ agree.
and the funny thing is, that for some, it doesn't matter how much (or little) they make. some women still want to pay $$$ for brand cosmetics and designer purses. no industry insights on this one, just empirical data ....
I started using Estée Lauder in my early 20s but only because my friend worked there and kept me supplied. Before that I used Clinique which was kind of Estée Junior anyway. Now I can't afford either!

I'm sure that EL will appeal to a younger market when they stop giving their cosmetic that old-lady smell....

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
I don't know. So many people are allergic to scented products and it clashes with their. um. EL perfume. Most high end products put minimal scent in to disguise the chemicals and by-products that you don't want to know about. No one in their right mind wants to look like a Cardashian and smell like one as well.
I think Paulina was one of the most beautiful women ever. She's aging beautifully too.
I think she's pretty enough just really bland. I didn't think Estee Lauder would want a blank face. Liz Hurley had her long term contract terminated after her baby drama but at least she had a "look".

Estee Lauder lipstick smells so so bad. Back when I could afford department store cosmetics (in my 20's!) I liked some Estee Lauder stuff, mainly the moisturizers. I stopped buying the pricey mascara because I found the cheap stuff wasn't that bad. Lipstick I still buy pricey, but not EL, the smell gags me.
I don't know that I've ever bothered using any of their products to begin with so this doesn't affect me. I still use the drug store makeup. Why bother with the more expensive stuff when Loreal or Revlon work just as well at less than half the price? And yeah, I'm a Loreal whore and even IF they made Kendall their "face", I'd still buy my shit!
ETA: and YES, some makeups STINK... they do smell like the inside of a meemaw's purse!
Kill him.
Kill her.
Kill It.
Kill everything... that IS the solution!
