Very disappointing - although I haven't used Lauder for quite a while. It IS a legacy brand name though and why they would want some 18-year-old kid from an infamously disreputable family to be their "face" is beyond me. I'm sticking with Bobbi Brown.

I would rather have Ken Jennings be the face of Estee Lauder.

Yay for my cheap make up! Not a single brand of mine is listed.

This is why I give it the thumbs up! Also, she is not Liz Hurley who definitely outstayed her welcome with the brand. She's not Karen Graham either but you can't have everything.

Eh, that's okay. I love Bobbi's stuff; it's not your gramma's makeup, like Lauder tends to be.

And who knows, maybe that's what they're trying to change. But I know at that age, I was definitely not buying the more expensive department store brands. It was all drugstore stuff...Maybelline, Cover Girl, Revlon etc. One, I didn't need any fancy skin care at that age, and two, I didn't have that kind of disposable income for it.
I know over here they launched a range for acne/large pores so maybe they are trying to break into the younger market now. Still if that is the case they'd be better off signing someone a bit more well known that Kendall Jenner. She is a very pretty girl and I kind of want to see her really break into the high end fashion modelling in a big way just because that would piss Kim off sooooo much.

Wow. Estee Lauder has really gone low rent.

I wonder what real models think when someone like Kendall Jenner gets a job as the face of Estee Lauder?

I would be embarrassed to buy anything a Kardashian/Jenner is selling. Just like I won't buy any Hannah Montana products.

Lauder may have a rep as an older brand but its some of the best stuff out there. I say this as a lifelong makeup junkie, with a bathroom cabinet that looks like a small sephora branch

They make an incredible mascara- Sumptuous, and some of the best foundations and concealers ever, second only to Chantecaille in that department. But the Chantecaille is like $85 a go for foundation, and EL runs about $40 cheaper.

If they still made Eyzone I would be defending them until the cows come home. But they discontinued it, I cried then bought every remaining tub in town and online, and now I curse them. Damn you Esther, you've given me crows feet!

I wonder how much they will pay Kendall to be their model? Probably not much.

There's so many better models and they picked Kendall. Big drop.

Chantecaille's foundation is awesome but too expensive.

Do they still make that 'Lucidity' foundation? I wore that years ago when I was too young to need it.

ETA, it's been discontinued in the UK, fucking typical.
