    Kanye's "church" still seems like a tax dodge to me, much like Mama Kris's "church." He doesn't have to pay taxes on the land or any profits from his church. I wonder if he'll be able to avoid taxes on the profits from his religious merchandise -- the sweats, the t-shirts, possibly the sneakers?

    ^^ I also think that all their talk of God, Jesus and the Bible is cynical marketing, a ploy to make themselves more palatable to a wider audience in an attempt to sustain their media shelf life.

    I was thinking the “church” is a means of satisfying his mental illness. It feeds his narcissism, makes him feel worshipped and the tax dodge is a nice bonus.

    Isnt Kanye off his bipolar meds? That’s why a lot of this smacks of bipolar mania to me. His “crash” is going to be awful!
