How convenient and predictable for him to drag out the race card and blame racism for his children's bad press. I guess it's a lot easier for him to scapegoat others instead of admitting that his children have received bad press because of their own actions.
And like people have said, Michael is so self-loathing he has turned himself into an alien looking freak in order to try to change his blackness. And I don't care what anybody says; his kids are 100% white. It's obvious he used a sperm donor and is not the biological father of those children.

There does appear to be some type of "get 'em" mentality when it comes to the Jacksons.
A musuem is befitting, and I, as a fan, would definitely patronize the establishment.
They pick and chose which stories get non-stop coverage and which ones are swept under the rug.
It still doesn't change my views on Michael ((((the artist)))), I love his work and what he's accomplished.
btw, I'm jaded against the American Media myself. They DO TEND TO TRY TO REWRITE HISTORY on a regular basis, and usually get away with it.

I heard a story that old Joe would punish the kids by making them put on boxing gloves and beat the crap out of each other until one of them was knocked out. The only one who didn't get that treatment was Michael, because he was too fast to catch.
On the other hand Joe Jackson is the prototype for every stage managing parent who turns their kids into a meal ticket, and drives them slowly off the rails: from Dina Lohan, to Joe Simpson, to Kit Culkin. So in a way, he really does have a show business legacy.

Yes, and also call him "ugly". That's why he wanted to change his face.

I agree with you about the media tending to rewrite history, and in the way they pick & cover some of their stories.
But, in the Jackson's case, all of the controversy around them has been pretty much caused by the Jacksons themselves, with the multiple plastic surgeries, MJ's molestation charges and trial, Latoya being Latoya, Janet's nipplegate, and on and on. And considering that Joe Jackson is the head of that family, he needs to take some responsibility for how some of his kids turned out.

I agree that they've made great music, but for Joe to act like they should be celebrated as musicians and human beings is a bit insulting. Although, to be fair, it sounds like he just wants to make another Graceland, which isn't a tribute to a musician as much as a haven for white trash hillbillies to gawk.
And you have to admit, going to Jacksonland for Halloween would be the ULTIMATE scary house experience.

Neverland is already it's own house of horrors with MJ as the cryptkeeper.

yeah but he doesn't OWN Neverland anymore. Oh, wait, don't tell Papa Joe the most successful recording artist ever is bankrupt. It might ruin his superiority complex.

Maybe Poppa Joe will join forces with the other Poppa Joe and they'll arrange a 'relationship' for MJ and Jessica and spark a telethon to save Neverland for Michael.

The only legacy I see is one of mental instability. Oh, and pedophilia.
Jess' daddy totally needs to sell her to the Jackson family next. He could actually have a chance of marrying her off there.

oh, god, I can just see Jessica crying to her daddy after her wedding night. 'But daddy! I thought you said he was the King of PLOP!'

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are thinking of buying it. Jolie says that it would be a great place to raise kids. At one time Scientology wanted it, as a headquarters or perhaps for an alien landing pad. That place is a creep magnet.
