^ No i dont think so.
and wow, they sure got his death outta the way fast.
Novice - there have been several cases in the US where parents were taken to court by hospital staff to force medical care for children. It does normally involve a court order. The medical staff is damed either way. They assume the legal bills to take the parents to court. Then if they let the kid die they face legal costs if the parents then sue. The legal system is so out of control
Thanks Sluce - its slightly different here, but I know that the child can be made a ward of court, and then gets hospital care. Obviously as our healthcare is free at the point of delievery thats not an issue. I dunno what would happen if the child died, I don't think that that has ever been an issue, its a "if you don't do this you child WILL die" case that I've heard of.
Speaking up for sluts everywhere.
