John Edwards sex scandal could derail 2008 Presidential campaign

I honestly don't know enough about him to say whether I think you're right or not, I just know that I'd like to have the chance to make up my mind without him getting automatically shitcanned from the running on account of something that has little to nothing to do with the position for which I'd be considering voting him in.

Considering the culture and times we live in and the shit that is considered acceptable and even glorified these days, "sex scandals" are passe...and very hypocritical, to say the least.

No, he's not.

He's some 'ex-gay' retard that says if you're gay there's something wrong with you and that you need to be fixed.. also that there should be a "War" agains homosexuals, and a bunch of other self loathing, bigoted nonsense. He used his little Obama invitation to lead a cheery sermon about gays being evil while Obama just sat there and clapped along.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel too kindly towards people who say shit reminiscent of gas chambers and ghettos, nor those who let them speak on their behalf. Obama in particular ought to fucking know better considering he's half black.

I didn't know all the other stuff about him. Sounds kind of weird that Obama would stay for a sermon like that. I may have to investigate this further.

So Edwards was definitely the guess tothe blind item about the presidential candidate who was telling his mistress he would marry her when his wife was "out of the picture".

It's all over the mainstream media.. Obama probably had no idea, but his people recruited this tool cuz he's fairly popular as a singer for the southern baptists..

but then when the gay blogosphere went apeshit and asked him to kick him off the Obama tour, Obama basically said 'go fuck yourself'

Then the gays got really pissed, got very hard hitting gay influence organizations to criticize him, and again Obama said 'piss off'

So the groups, having asked nicely and given him a chance, unloaded both barrells at him and got it all over CNN and FOX. Obama then tried to backpedal, and bought some gay pastor onboard to lead a prayer before the singalong.. so the guy, unknown to pretty much the entire audience, does his prayer and then the exgay freak gets on stag and starts his anti gay harangue.. the pastor just kinda slinked offstage, didnt say a word, and obama clapped right along with it.

Now he's mouthing some lame shit like "we're trying to bring together differing viewpoints" which is about as truthful as bush saying "we tried diplomacy in iraq".

Obama got caught between 2 groups but decided the black baptist bigot vote was worth more.

it's pretty par for the course, the gays usually get thrown under the bus and sacrificed for more votes.

Doesn't make it right.

I think that shit ^ is exactly that - shit. Edwards is a politician and most of them are slime but I don't think he would stoop that low. This is just part of the smear campaign. There'll be more, guaranteed.

Why would anyone bother to smear someone who is so low in the polls? I think the gossips are purely gossips and printed a juicy blind item. Not that everything gossips say is true, far from it, but I hardly think there was any political motivation behind it.
