They barely look alike to me.
Joaquin and his sister Rain look very alike.

river was the sort of guy i found attractive when i was much younger - pretty features, not overly masculine. joaquin is gorgeous and all man. yum.
and i think he's right.
and compared to thetan tom thumb and the other hollywood assholes, he's not a famewhore at all. and a great actor.

^I know what you mean. My taste changed big time from age 13 to now. Back then I hated chest hair; now I LOVE it. And alot of the younger girls say 'eww body hair'. That used to be my attitude too.

The picture of River was definitely not nice. He had a private funeral prior to cremation so he wasn't exactly "fixed up" for display. I am definitely not glad to have seen it, and I don't seek out that kind of thing.

But I know some do, which is why you have people skulking around funeral homes, morgues and stealing crime-scene photos for a buck. I guess Joaquin should be grateful there aren't photos of River convulsing and dying on the sidewalk. There supposedly was a photographer there, but instead of snapping pics he dialed 911. Imagine that.

Really, they only deserve to be millionaires because they lose their privacy. Then I can say fair enough its a hard life.

Actually, speaking as someone who has dabbled in it, and made a career of critiquing it, good acting is quite difficult. I wouldn't put it on the same level as brain surgery or nuclear physics, but the world needs entertainers, too. It's part of an ancient tradition of storytelling, and for me at least, a valuable part of culture.
