^^As far as I understand, a funeral can't be held over the Sabbath though. So, in this case, Sunday is the earliest the funeral could be held. I think.
From sundown Friday til sundown tonight is Shabbots and there are no funerals, mortuary pick ups, nor weddings during that time.

they probably won't have a traditional shiva, but i'm sure they will have some kind of closed reception somewhere. and they are having a service in a temple, those are always traditional.

well, i doubt they would allow flowers or an ornate casket. maybe they are more liberal with music? hard to say.
weddings are different, there is more leeway. even in a conservative temple.

I'm pretty sure that it was except for Jewish Holidays and remember that it was free. They have a very nice Judaica collection and host other exhibits.
