Witchcurlgirl I actually considered naming my daughter Saffron in honor of AbFab but the alter/ego wouldn't go for it.

Why did they take Joan Rivers red carpet shtick off the air? It was better than any of the other ones I ever saw particularly Seacrust's boring adventures.
as privileged as a whore...victims in demand for public show, swept out through the cracks beneath the door, holier than thou, how?

Wish we could get Joan-on-the-red-carpet here in Blighty. All we get is Seacrest and he's so bland!

She was hella better than the fawning, treacly, ass kissing, moronic drivel we get out of Seacrest and Co. Celebs need to get poked every now and then so they can keep it real. Yeah, it's good for 'em.

I hated her on the red carpet, but I loved to hate her and make fun of Melissa. I loved when Joan would ask embarrassing questions or make the rude remark. Like when she slammed the size of Kevin Costner's fiancee's ring. Oh that was priceless. The people they have now are so boring.

    lol

Vicky probably was frightened by the mess that is Joan Rivers face and just didn't know what to say to her...or tried to run away. Can't blame her for that!

Besides, I don't think Joan would get Vicky Becks sense of humor.

saying that she is an “arrogant” woman who is “just a Spice Girl.” Rivers (in her distinctively raspy voice) was holding nothing back during an exclusive interview. “I dislike Victoria Beckham,” she seethed. “The entitlement - the total entitlement. You want to say: ‘Calm down, you were a Spice Girl.’ The arrogance when she walks into a room is astonishing.”
That's it? I wish she said something meaner than that

If you think it's crazy, you ain't seen a thing. Just wait until we're goin down in flames.

I'm so delighted that Joan doesn't kiss celebs' asses.
She tells it like it is, and I hope she continues to pop their bubbles for many years to come.

She was also the first (maybe only) female to sub for Johnny Carson.
And she didn't get the permanent gig in the end because she acted pretty badly. I used to really like Joan Rivers but now she just comes across as a bitter old cow with a big chip on her shoulder. Plus, I have a hard time forgiving her for visiting that ridiculous, pointless daughter of hers upon the world.

I'm not sure Posh is arrogant. She comes across as more deer in the headlights to me. Plus, she makes fun of herself in a great way, which is something Joan Rivers hasn't done in years.
