I feel the same way. I just can't bring myself to permanently alter my daughter's body without her permission, however small the alteration.

I think most babies are pretty fug for the first 3 months. How old are these oes?
I thnk it is fair to say they have striking facial features.

I agree about the earrings but that's definitely the norm for Latin baby girls. I've never seen one who didn't have her ears pierced. I actually think the girl is pretty cute, she'll grow into her features. The boy is HUGE, he looks more like 8 months old than 4 months. They both have a lot of character though, I get tired of those smiley blond samey looking kids.

J.Lo's kids don't look much alike for being twins. They obviously aren't identical but they don't look much alike, period. The boy, Max, is a lot larger than the little girl. The little girl looks petite and puney, small-framed like Marc.
A couple of years ago, I went once to Jennifer's restaurant in Pasadena (the one she owns) and her father, David Lopez, was there. Nice man, came up to us and welcomed us. Anyway, her father is really, really light. Light hair, light skin, his eyes were very light brown too. Jennifer looks like her dad, just more tanned. You can't see it in photos, but in person, you can see where she got her features--totally from her dad. They have the same nose. Anyway, little Max may look like his grandfather on Jennifer's side because I don't see much resemblance to Skeletor.

Except in the case of Rumer, she's going in the opposite direction!
As for these babies, they have Marc as a dad....did we really expect them to be beautiful???

Yeah, he looks like a regular but pretty attractive white guy. Jennifer is naturally pretty light, too if I'm not mistaken. Her 'glow' is all self tanner.

I don't think Jennifer is even tanned. Her skin is lily white in the pics of her with no make-up. I think the baby boy does look somewhat like her, while the girl looks more like Marc. She also looks a bit like her older sister, Arianna.

I was so hoping they'd favour their mother as the lesser of two evils. Poor wee things.

They just look like babies to me - most of them look like chubby and balding old men in miniature size anyway, at least for a time. I find it rather cute, and very funny.
My mother says that I looked like a former Swedish prime minister, Tage Erlander, when I was a baby, and I can definitely see the resemblance when I look at old photos...

Well I was one of those Latina babies with their ears pierced. I can tell you I don't remember a thing about any pain. I thought it looked cute in my baby pictures. I think it's done to make sure everyone can distinguish it's a girl.
And it didn't even really hurt that much when they closed up I had them done again at age 7 or 8. No big whoop.

The baby earrings don't bother me. Growing up my best friend was Cuban and she had hers done at 3 weeks old. I was always very envious, and was glad to get mine done for my 5th birthday.
