Think twice before storing any sensitive materials in the cloud. Especially if you are rich(blackmail target) and famous. If you don't want them leaked, of course.
Actually a couple of years ago a lady-teacher was fired because someone had found home-made videos of her and her husband on an adult website. And she was wearing a mask. Some parents were more unforgiving than others and she had to leave. And it wasn't anything like the curling iron thing mentioned above.

Apple Releases Statement Saying iCloud Was Not Breached in Celebrity Photo Hack



Apple has released a statement following the huge breach of various celebrities’ photos saying iCloud was not breached.

“We wanted to provide an update to our investigation into the theft of photos of certain celebrities. When we learned of the theft, we were outraged and immediately mobilized Apple’s engineers to discover the source. Our customers’ privacy and security are of utmost importance to us,” the statement read. “After more than 40 hours of investigation, we have discovered that certain celebrity accounts were compromised by a very targeted attack on user names, passwords and security questions, a practice that has become all too common on the Internet. None of the cases we have investigated has resulted from any breach in any of Apple’s systems including iCloud® or Find my iPhone. We are continuing to work with law enforcement to help identify the criminals involved.”

Celebrities including Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Kirsten Dunst, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Victoria Justice and more were involved in the hack.

Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney says she was under 18 when the hacked nude photos of her were taken ... and now she's taking legal action against several porn sites that reposted the images.

TMZ has learned one of Maroney's attorneys fired off a letter to Porn.com ... informing the site that McKayla was underage in several of the photos. The letter demands the images of McKayla -- who turned 18 last December -- be taken down immediately.

Another attorney for the gymnast sent a different letter to multiple websites stating Maroney owns the copyright on the hacked photos.

The legal claims by her attorneys are a strong indication the photos really do show McKayla -- even though she said on Twitter they were "fake photos." It's also possible only portions of the images are really McKayla. The letter is not specific.

A rep for Porn.com tells us they immediately removed the pics once they got the letter from Maroney's attorney.

It sucks but in the end we all know that nothing is secure once we put it out there. If you want to take secure nudes, get an old camera, with a roll of film, and develop it yourself. Even then security is not promised even if you store them in the best safe.

I immediately thought of the good ol' Polaroid One-Step too. You know they're still out there? Likewise the Land cameras, and film and bulbs for both is still available as well.

I have lots of questionable pics... it's my phone, the pics are for my entertainment or distribution - should I see fit to distribute. That doesn't meant someone has the right to hijack/hack my account and bootleg/distribute my personal pics. Glad I'm not famous. Although...all my pics of that variety were taken on film and home-developed (arty black and white of COURSE), or a digital camera and downloaded to my (usually not online) desktop, and that was it, mostly. Taking pics like that on a PHONE that has a locator and always-on web capability--plus a bunch of stuff most of us aren't too clear about or good at controlling--seems risky. Were I famous, I'd never ever go there. If a paramour wanted one of the pics, I'd print it out and behead it before handing it over.

Hey, naked is good. I've just always been a bit afraid of having any naked pics floating around. People don't know what happens once they sync their iPhone with their MacBook, iCloud, etc. I've seen pictures that were CLEARLY not meant for others eyes when I've been to a friends house for a party. They were playing music and had pictures on their apple tv or something. Anyway, there were some definite "boudoir" shots in the bunch and my girlfriend just said "oops" and turned them off. Luckily, no gynecologic exams, but some sexy pics.

I certainly don't judge these women for the nudies, but I do find the spread butthole/vag pics to be a bit much. I would die, seriously die, if i had some of those out there and millions were looking at them.
