Honestly, though I despise where the pets come from, there is a local pet store that treats the animals very well (I have a friend who used to work there) that we take the kids to on occasion for a family outing of talking about and handling animals, very much like what is pictured here. The pet store has all of its cats and 2/3s of its dogs from local shelters(adopted from kill shelters to resell), rather than pet store breeders, though there are always five or six dogs that obviously came from a puppy mill. Sadly those are the dogs that get adopted the most and keep the place in business.
Perhaps this is one of those type of shops and they are window shopping (?)

I do like Jen though, she always looks casual during her down time and cleans up well for award shows.

Then the cruelty of puppy mills will go on forever, churning out pets to replace the ones people buy in these shops. Congratulations on the most myopic post of the day.
