Jennifer Aniston teams up with Oprah

^I don't know how much of it she's done behind closed doors (I suspect very little, tbh), but I am sick to my stomach seeing her throw her celeb status around, thinking she can raise money and awareness just by slapping her name on a charity. It's disgusting because instead of donating one of her many millions of dollars, she's expecting the WORKING CLASS to foot the bill. And that's not cool with me. Right now, she's trying to raise a million dollars with Courteney Cox, when all she has to do is write a check.

to the best of my knowledge St.Jude's Hospital has been the primary charity that Jennifer Aniston is involved with. she has been for years. at least since 2003 maybe before that but I haven't been able to find it. the article below however mentions her involvement in 2003

I have to respectfully agree to disagree with you on this I provided some info on her various charity work over the years. Not all celebs announce every charity they give all the time ie: Bill Gates is a tremendous donator but is rarely in the news about it. jmo I think most people write a check as well as volunteer but that is jmo as you are entitled to yours.

I also like Jen. I like Angelina as well for her humanitarian causes.

Hey no problem. I knew she was the face of St. Jude's (which is highly commendable), but I still question if she considers her time to be her charitable contribution, or if she donates some of her millions as well.

If I am not mistaken I believe from time to time the amounts are given but I can't remember exactly at this moment. I believe she immediately gave to the Katrina cause right after the event. That one just stuck out in my mind. I will attempt to try to find some articles

Imo the media drags it out so they can sell papers. It is a cycle.... the more they make up stories the more the public buys their mags and talks about it, the more money they make. I wish the story would come to an end as well. They have all moved on imo.

I'm sure she isn't just donating her time. Of course she is giving some of her own money, but instead of just giving a million dollars she is also raising awareness.

ETA: to no one in particular. I was just watching a commercial with Gwen Stefani and thought about how no one seems to rag on her for not giving or if she does she is also not publically known for it. and she is supposedly friends with AJ. There are so many celebs that give of their time or donate material things for charity ie: matt damon ( also connected with the j/ps) that are not publically known for their donations so why just rag on Jennifer. People have been known to write on message boards that she only gives of her time or donates gowns or whatever instead of money supposedly ( which imo I would imagine all three people listed here also give monetarily ) but so do so many other high profile celebs. I guess the answer to my question is that it is easier to keep the trio alive and not let them live separate lives. sigh....
