Scheider gave one of those good, strong, solid performances that you just don't see anymore. A real pro.

i love that movie too. and i agree, he was great in it. great actor. very handsome man too.

I loved SeaQuest! He was so sweet in that, like the grandfather everyone would want!

I don't remember him in the French Connection but it's been too long since I last saw the film. I remember he really made an impression on me in Klute, actually. He was Jane Fonda's pimp in that movie.
