This is the first time I feel sorry for this family. Sharon was crying her eyes out on The Talk.

I feel sorry for them, too. But at least he has his family who is there for him.

As a Mother you can face anything you have, just let the children be healthy. That video is hearybreaking because any Mom on here knows just how she feels.
His drug abuse early on must have had some effect, maybe that is why he got it early. I hope he does well.

That has NOTHING to do with MS. You can't "bring it on". Either you're going to get it or you're not. End of story.

That is not what I meant. Unfair. You think being a rampant drug user has no effect at all? Maybe not,we will never know.

Right. See above. Nobody knows if it had an effect or not. Never will.

Here is the missing link. Still very sad but maybe this will turn out to be a wrong diagnosis, too.
Again,I apologise to any offended person who felt I was blaming the victim. I was not, merely pointing out that may,MAY have contributed to an earlier onset.

I've read the average age of onset is around 30, so he's not unusually young.

    I feel terrible for him.

Good to know. I have just heard of it striking older people for some reason.

^^^ no, there is early onset as well.

i have never heard of drug use affecting age of onset. i can't remember ever seeing prior drug use mentioned in any of the studies i have read about MS.
