i don't wear any, it makes me uncomfortable
Nah I'm the same. I like the stuff that is beautifully designed (the string of diamonds was one) but in general they are too big, showy and look uncomfortable.
Speaking of which, I used to be quite a jewelry wearer (my engagement ring is quite big & showy even on my hands) I bought myself some lovely costume jewelry rings (fine, small, tasteful) and they are just so uncomfortable!!! I am just so out of practice!!!

i don't want crowns and tiaras for myself either! lol
but i love jewellery, and making jewellery was always one of my 'in my dreams' artistic professions, even as a kid. and i love antique/vingage jewellery. the husband of one of my best friends is in the jewellery business, specialising in rare and precious antique jewellery, and that stuff is incredible in terms of design and craftsmanship.

I used to wear a bit of jewelry before I got divorced. Had really gorgeous engagement and wedding rings. I had a few other pieces that I wore here and there. Then I got divorced and my house burned down. Lost all the jewelry. Now I couldn't honestly give a crap. I have a beautiful Brighton silver bracelet with Swarovski crystals and an Apple Watch that has a plain thin grey leather wristband. That's it. I do have a few other pieces that are cubic zirconia that I wear here and there. Unless I married a billionaire, I can't see myself investing in "real" jewelry again. I do love looking at it though.

I think the jewels would be the best part about being royal. Well, that and the plush travel. The rest .... ehhhhhh ... not so much, thanks.

These pictures annoy the hell out of me, I have to be honest.

Bill looks condescending. George looks too much like his dad.

I'll be honest - on this occasion I can't care either way about the photos. The Thursday 8pm thing is a big deal here at the moment but I have to stay in my house with my dog as the idiots near me let off a barrage of fireworks & my dog is a nervous wreck with it.

The photos are less annoying when you watch the whole video behind them, with Stephen Fry who makes everything better.

^That was very cute. Wills even had a laugh at himself which made me warm to him slightly.

Well, Princess Laurentien has shown that Karen hair and tiaras don't mix, sorry for all of the Karens out there.

Of course the Dutch would have beautiful pieces. I'm curious to know the carat of that middle stone of the bandeau, such a simple and beautiful piece and Maxima looks flawless in it. She's so gorgeous anyway IMO. I love all of those pieces.

Denmark are a little too earthy for my liking, I don't particularly care for any of them, but I do think the Pearl Poiré Tiara is reminiscent of the Lover's Knot Tiara which is one of my absolute favorite BRF pieces. I also think the Nuits Claires Tiara looks cheap af.

The Japanese have some nice pieces, I especially like the Diamond Scroll Tiara.

I could look at royal jewelry for hours, I especially love learning the history and meaning behind pieces. I think it's part of my fascination with royalty. I feel like Americans have such a weak history and tradition (it's still such a young country), it's just so interesting that there are pieces of jewelry that have been on this earth longer than all of us here.

Anyway, Louis is by far the cutest kid.
