(sigh) Both Kate and Meghan are probably more beautiful than their late mother-in-law, but with all her issues, there really was 'something about Diana.'

Diana looked like she truly loved her boys. She herself didn't get a lot of hands on treatment as a youngster and it was like she wanted to make sure that her sons got that from her.

Pierre Casiraghi bought a castle in France

    by BUNTE magazine
    March 19, 2020 at 12:29 pm

The son of Princess Caroline of Hanover is now the proud owner of the Château de Beauregard in southern France.

The Middle Ages fell in love with Pierre Casiraghi (32). He loved castles and fortresses as a young boy and today plays historical battles in his free time in knight costume. The son of Princess Caroline (63) has now fulfilled his childhood dream and bought a property in the southern French Alps.

The Château de Beauregard was family-owned for over 550 years, but Count Patrick de Clarens could no longer afford the maintenance costs. After unsuccessfully trying to prevent a sale by auctioning parts of the inventory, he offered the property, which was in need of renovation, for four million euros. The castle was built in 1470 with stones that were left over from the construction of Florence Cathedral. The owners were extremely popular with the villagers, so they survived the French Revolution unscathed as one of the few noble families in France.

Pierre fulfills a childhood dream with the purchase of a castle
Pierre Casiraghi even has a personal relationship with the château. His great-great-great-great grandmother was born in Beauregard.

In the past few months, the château has been renovated and the facade plastered. Soon Pierre and his family want to use the castle as a second home next to his property in Monaco.

Is he like a big man child or something?

I want to know how an entire period of history fell in love with some Eurotrash princeling.

Also, that's an ugly castle with ugly gardens.

Diana wasn't a classic beauty, but I agree, there was something arresting and magnetic about her. She had a latent sadness and vulnerability even at the best of times which always reminded me of Marilyn Monroe.

I think it's a bad translation and the thing is trying to say that he's a historical reenactor?

Although, both are probably true. Historical reenactor and manchild.

What do they mean by having the facade plastered? Did they ruin the exterior by covering up all that beautiful stone? Ugh.

Can we swap Andrew for this guy? Historical renactment peeps always look to be having a lot of fun and is a hell of a lot better than trafficking teenagers.

I remember Pierre looking hotter. Did he hit the Grimaldi wall too.
