"In January 2012, Long interviewed the actorMichael Fassbender. Her opening question referred to the large size of the actor's penis ("That’s kind of you to say", he replied). A section of Long's article was read to Fassbender in a subsequent interview for GQ magazine, including Long's statement that she was "quite certain that [Fassbender] would willingly show me his penis, given slightly different circumstances and a bucket of champagne," prompting Fassbender to respond that "I don’t think I would touch her with a barge pole!"

^ This must be why she is such a bitter hag.
Alicia Silverstone: "I think that the film Clueless was very deep. I think it was deep in the way that it was very light. I think lightness has to come from a very deep place if it's true lightness."

Maybe so but Waity-Katie is full of shit:-

'When the third [child] comes along, how can you physically get all three children out of the car at the same time? You can't,' she says. While acknowledging that mothers 'get a huge amount of support' during pregnancy 'the challenge is when you're then sent home with your new-born baby, particularly as a first-time mother, you're like, 'Oh my goodness, am I OK to do this?'”
She had a full time executive nanny from giving birth.

“'And you know even this morning... George and Charlotte were like, 'Mummy, how could you possibly not be dropping us off at school this morning?'... It's a constant challenge – you hear it time and time again from mums, even mums who aren't necessarily working and aren't pulled in the directions of having to juggle work life and family life.'”
She doesn’t make sense & appears to be talking to a script.

”She recalls 'a very wise man' advising her that she didn't necessarily have to be with her children all the time as long as they were surrounded by people who are 'safe and loving and caring'.

'So yeah, it was a real weight off my shoulders that it's not totally my responsibility to do everything,' she adds.”

    Again full-time nanny.....

and on and on and on and on.....

At this point, they are all desperately trying to be relatable (except for the Queen.) I don't think Kate is worse than any of the others, including Meghan and Harry. They jump on whatever current bandwagon is trending or on any universal truth (struggling mothers) which they are advised the poors can relate to. Of course it comes across as fake, given their lofty circumstances.

Oh, I don't know - I like Kate. She does a good job, sometimes even a great job, of being a Princess of Wales/Queen Consort in waiting. Of course she has a nanny, but I still see her as a pretty hands-on mum. Her upbringing and her family have helped her not only navigate the perilous royal 'way it should be done because that's the way it's always been done,' sea of courtiers expectations, but I think she's unquestionably been the best thing that's ever happened to Wills. She may make slightly silly, out of touch, statements now and again, but I believe she is genuinely passionate about early childhood development, and some of her 'awkward' statements, like 'making moments' with your child are excellent reminders to all parents.

I can see how and why Royals trying to be relatable doesn't go down too well but I do agree with this.

i wonder how many similarly hysterical editorials she wrote about Andrew? you know, the royal who hung out with and had shady business dealings with shady heads of state and paedophiles (and let the paedophile pay his “ex” wife’s debts) and has been credibly accused of rape?

Royal in gay sex video scandal outed
    October 31, 2007 — 7.38pm

Viscount Linley, son of the late Princess Margaret, has been named as the royal at the centre of a gay sex videotape scandal in Britain.

The 45-year-old, who can't be named in Britain because of court restrictions, was outed on US television.

Ian Strachan, 30, and Sean McGuigan, 40, are being held in custody until they appear at London's Central Criminal Court on December 20 on blackmail charges, prosecutors said.

The allegations became public over the weekend with a report in The Sunday Times.

The paper said the two suspects had approached the royal family member in August and demanded £50,000 ($112,000) not to publicise a video allegedly showing the royal engaged in a sex act with a male aide.

The blackmailers also claimed to have evidence suggesting the royal had supplied an aide with an envelope containing cocaine, the newspaper said.

Buckingham Palace has refused to comment on the report, saying it had nothing to say about what it described as "a police matter."

London police have only said that two men appeared in court on September 13 and were charged with blackmail.

The appearance was held in private and a court order has banned identifying the victim or any potential witnesses in the case.

The preliminary hearing on December 20 will allow a judge and lawyers to discuss future dates in the court case, prosecutors said.

The BBC, without citing sources, said the blackmail target was not a senior member of the royal family.

The Sunday Times said the blackmailers' target contacted police and the two suspects were arrested at a London hotel on September 11 during an undercover police operation.

An undercover police detective posing as a royal aide reportedly contacted the alleged blackmailers and arranged the meeting at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Strachan is a property developer in London who grew up in a wealthy area of Aberdeen, Scotland, where he attended a private school and ran a clothes shop before moving to Britain's capital.

Giovanni di Stefano, Strachan's legal adviser, said the suspect owns a home in the wealthy London area of Chelsea and regularly socialised with people on the fringes of Britain's royal family.

Mr di Stefano, a high-profile lawyer whose previous clients include executed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, said of reports that a sex act was captured on video: "There is no tape in existence.

"What there is in existence are tapes both audio and visual of an assistant to a member of the royal family boasting of how he received a sex act from this royal family member.

"Whether that act took place I do not know.

"At no time did my client call the royal household. He in fact called the private business office of the individual concerned.

"My client denies that he asked for any money and that it was in fact the office of the individual concerned who first offered money."

No background information was immediately available about McGuigan.

I jumped on this thread to see if anyone had yet posted about Earl of Snowden. His dad (the original Earl of Snowden, AKA Antony Armstrong Jones) was quite the player, too, from what I've read. So, apple doesn't far from the tree.

who said it was a scandal? just pointing out that he was similar to his father in more ways than one.
though it was pretty juicy gossip at the time that the queen's sister married a bohemian photographer who loved to party and swung both ways.
