I hate saying this, but who cares? There are probably a hundred other docs in LA supplying drugs to 'addicts', ahem celebs and wannabe celebs. No one is doing anything about that. Instead the DEA was focusing on marijuana, which thankfully will end with Obama. Adderall, modafinil, opiates ... it all works wonder for appetite depressants for celebs and porn stars. It's a fucking joke. I too can go from a size 4 to a size 2 or 0 with some pharmaceutical help.

i know ANS was a rabid addict, but this guy was still guilty of feeding her drugs and prolly killed her and her son.

I believe he was so in love with her.. you could see it on her show. Then she probably got sick of him and he needed her and her $$ so the only way to get her to cooperate was to drug her..then she was in a daze and did anything, like all those stupid ET interviews and was even gonna marry this A-hole.

This guy is a creep.
Am convinced he is responsible for her son's death, too.
He was always filming her doped up and exploiting her for it.
But, question: how is he charged for 'prescribing' meds? Wouldn't he have to be a doctor to prescribe something? The distrubution, administering and furnishing of the drugs I can understand.
He's an ass.

if he won his case agains her dead husbands family he stood to get 5 mil as her attorney but if he killed them both off he stood to gain everything. I don't think that man loved anything but money.
Doctors are not supposed to hand out drugs. Doctors are not supposed to get people addicted to drugs either. I'm no fan of Rush Linbaugh but when he got addicted to oxycontin after a back surgery I understood why he did what he did. I've seen people I know die from that stuff, I've seen people loose their families and their jobs. Sometimes doctors do not realize how dangerous a certain drug is.. which is why the doctors were allowed to sue the makers of oxycontin. I doubt that Anna ever wanted to die the way she did and leave her daughter ... and I believe Howard planned it from the get go.

Shocking news! It looks like Anna Nicole Smith was murdered by Howard K. Stern!
Today, Howard K. Stern and her two doctors, Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich, were charged with conspiracy to furnish drugs to the former Playboy playmate before she died of an overdose in 2007.
According to reports, L.A. DA spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons says the “three also were charged with other felonies including obtaining fraudulent prescriptions and unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance between June 2004 and January 2007, just two weeks before Smith’s death.
