No not about public opinion. I guess I'm not explaining it well. He's being filmed. And blindsiding someone emotionally is going to be very noticeable on film. People will watch this film and if he's not as good as he normally is (which ain't that good to begin with) they'll pick it apart and say "Ahh this is the film he made when she dumped him." Sort of like how Mr. and Mrs. Smith is always watched as the film where Pitt and Jolie cheated.

I think it's a bit unfair to do someone. A lawyer and politician etc, unless they are out giving speeches, can pretty much keep a low profile and muddle through a surprising divorce. And actor or actress working on a film has a harder time. But then again he's such a control freak that he probably will be same as always.

Doesn't make sense to me. I think he's always been into Scientology and cooled his heels a bit because Nicole wasn't into it as much. But the she did something that pissed him off and he was like fuck her, kicked her to the curb and went whole hog into Scientology to give her the middle finger like "You never let me do this when we were married so watch me now."

How does it make sense that he'd leave Scientology because of the Xenu story and grand master Miscaviage caused him to dump his wife and come back?
