That was actually a joke on the TV series Red Dwarf. The ship's reserve milk supple was from rats.
how much milk does this idiotic bitch expect to get out of a rat?

nycgirly, that comment gave me the giggles so badly, I have tears streaming...
Believe it or not she's hyping this idea again, as a way of promoting her new book Get Healthy With Heather.
She's also extolling the virtues of a stress free lifestyle:“There are many other kinds of milk available. Why don't we try drinking rats' milk and dogs' milk?”
Now don't laugh - she's an expert on stress. Just think how much of it she's created for Paul McCartney! She's also made more than her fair share of greenhouse emissions, in the form of hot air. If we could stick a cork in Heather, we might be able to fore go the rats' milk!"Spring is in the air and this is a time for change, regeneration and new beginnings. We all know sometimes that life’s problems can be quite overwhelming so it’s really important we learn to relax properly and iron out those everyday stresses and strains.”

Doesn't she get that Cows hold more milk than a rat or dog can?
I don't imagine a Cow being milked is comfortable, but I imagine it would be quite painful for a dog or rat to be milked.
ssabmud
cows are bad for the environment because they fart a lot and forests need to be cleared so they can graze.
There are currently way too many cows for the planet to handle
I am from the American CIA and I have a radio in my head. I am going to kill you.
I don't see rat's milk as being any more disgusting than cow's milk. The only milk I see being fit for humans is human milk and that is only fit for babies.
But then, I'm lactose intolerant. Heather is just a raving loony.![]()
^^ Me too, my mother was lactose intolerant and she passed it onto me! She did tell me that when she was a kid she drank milk straight from a cow and didn't have any bad reactions (thats how she worked out thats what was making her sick!) but store brought milk made her sneeze constantly.
Wow, ok. I think I'll just stick to my soymilk, with my vegan self.
