Me too. I've seen contestants on TV quiz shows who have never heard of the Beatles, let alone the 4 band members. They might vaguely recognise a couple of their songs but would have no clue who originally wrote and performed them.

I work in a major U.S. city and I also work with teenagers. I guarantee you that more than half of the kids I work with have no idea who The Beatles are. Heck, I grew up in the suburbs and I'm 32 and I don't really know any of their songs... growing up I listened to several different types of music but mostly was a fan of R & B and hip hop. My parents were into Motown so I grew up never really hearing Beatles music. What I've heard hasn't interested me, so...

There are some kids in America who can't name the president. That's not the point, the point is that this glum cunt tries to argue that kids don't know who the Beatles are while claiming kids are running up to her in the street because SHE'S so famous.

Also she continues to lie about donations to charity when her tax records and the divorce judgment revealed she doesn't donate money to charity. I wish for once an interviewer would call her out on that rather than letting her spew.

I'm proud to say my 16 year old knows who The Beatles are. And has several of their songs on his pc. And even a few vinyl 45s.

I remember one of my teenage babysitters had Beatles posters all over her wall in her room.

I also remember when they broke up. I was 5.

I had hippie teachers, we used to sing Octopus's Garden and Yellow Submarine in kindergarten while Mrs Cohen played piano.

As a mother, I felt it was my duty to introduce my snowflake to the music I loved and that her grandparents loved. WE are all huge Beatles fans. I think my mom played them while we were all in the womb.

My dad is a huge, huge, huge Beatles fan. We danced to "Blackbird" together at my wedding. It's always been "our song".
