and a lot of heat was thrown my way, especially by other working mothers who somehow used my out-of-context quote as an opportunity to express feelings (perhaps projected)
She was doing so well until she got to this part..... (then the true colors are shown)

"Perhaps projected." That's the little better than you jab she can't ever resist. She'll never get it that she's the asshole. It'll always be everybody else taking it the wrong way.

    Fuck you, Gwyneth, project that.

Only 'cause she realised she's losing, I'm sure.

"I don't like to be the lead so I don't [have] to work every day, you know, I have little things that I like and obviously I want it to be good and challenging and interesting and be with good people and that kind of thing."

Translation -- No one is offering me starring roles anymore, so I take what I can get.

Usually, they're getting ready for work, getting kids ready for school, making sure lunches are packed, breakfast is made and rushing out the door to sit in traffic. And usually, it's not 9 - 5, most companies on the west coast are 8 - 5. This means most of my mom friends are getting up around 5:30 in the morning. Of course, this is after they come home in the evening, make a meal, clean up, bathe (or supervise bathing) the kids, get a snack, brush teeth, read to kids, all before crashing into bed at 11.

I think GP doesn't have a clue as to how the real world works. I'm sure her days can be rough, but I'm still giving this one to the regular working moms out there.
Seriously! THat sounds similar to me, except with out the kids & with 1-2 (other) unpaid jobs. Your friends still are getting more sleep than me though..... *jellus*
