Let's not forget that Gwynnie hooked up with Martin about 10 minutes after her father died.
Martin was kinda a rebound thing - given that Mr. Paltrow seemed inordinately attached to his daughter, and she him. She was a daddy's girl all the way.

Her new cookbook is titled "My Father's Daughter."
Let's just say they were bonded. They lived together (alone) when she moved to California. She always goes on about owing everything to her father (not a word about mum.)

I read an account on a gossip site once by someone who knew someone who had worked on the Paltrows' house when Gwyneth was a little girl. (Take this with a grain of salt.)
Basically, the workman said Bruce Paltrow seemed obsessed with his little daughter. Everything was about Gwyneth, even at the expense of Blythe. He said Blythe seemed more like a maid/nanny than a wife.

Sad if this is true...but there have been rumours about these two for quite some time.
Hope that KB is not the man stealer Lainey claims.

Yes they had an abnormally close relationship. She said a few inappropriate things about him that made people notice awhile back. One of them was how she loved the long muscles in her father's legs. I can't remember everything she said, but it sounded as Coban wrote, they were the couple and Blythe was on the periphery. It was weird for sure.

I buy this.
Never thought her relationship with her father was weird. Just that she was close to him and his dying really affected her.

I never heard that one. So Blythe and the son weren't there? Weird.

Oh Chilly I love that. I bet he has a real limp dick.
He always reminds me of a snivelling over grown schoolboy. If her were not famous he would be payin someone to blow him while he surfs the internet in his bedroom at home with his parents.

I yell and pic up my pom poms for Team Gwyneth.

Not me. This is like what happened to Kathy Lee Gifford. She used to go on and on about her perfect family, then her husband got caught cheating with a buxum blond. It's tempting fate to be a big mouthed braggart. Something always happens to knock the braggart down a peg or three.

I never figured out what they had in common, I guess it's because they are both tools.

Sounds like Gwen was the 'apple' of her Daddy's eye.

Yeah but all those things olivia described sound weird and beyond the healthy father-daughter bond. Your daughter is your daughter, why would you treat her in ways usually reserved for a romantic partner? That's creepy and inappropriate even if that's all that ever happened.
