That's what I was thinking. If they are getting married at this point, it could be for legal reasons i.e. estate planning, final life decisions, etc.

What? No Elvis The Movie with the inimitable Shelley Winters as his mom?

Or not even It Happened at the World's Fair as a 12 year old, allowed to kick the shins of the man himself?

not sure if that is true, cali is a commonlaw marriage state, and they've been together a zillion years.

I saw "Elvis" on the list and could not remember that one for the life of me. Very funny to see how he went full circle from playing a kids kicking Elvis to playing Elvis himself. The only way he could top it, would be to star in some kind of Vernon Presley bio pic.

^^^ that was a really good movie. I had a coworker around that time who could not stop repeating Doc (Val Kilmer) Holiday's line: "I'll be your huckleberry."

Tombstone was great. And I normally can't stand Westerns (except The Big Country, Butch Cassidy, Silverado, and something else I can't remember). **Ducks head from blast from Western fans**

Silverado was on cable this morning, and it made me feel very, very old. 30 year old movie, with a very young looking Kevin Costner and Jeff Goldblum. Of course, Scott Glenn has looked 60 years old ever since he was 20.

You do know Kurt's real dad, Bing Russell, played Vernon in Elvis The Movie?

I see that in your original listing you mentioned The Thing four times. Is that how much you liked it? I know I did! Used Cars was hysterical, too.
