She was also Richard Dreyfuss' wife in one of my all time favorite movies, Mr. Holland's Opus.

Of course I know her best as Tess Trueheart with Beatty in Dick Tracy.

^The fun part was that 2 Bonnie & Clyde cast members (and friends of Beatty) were in Dick Tracy, too. Above Estelle Parsons as Tess Trueheart's mom.

What if Superman is psychotic and everyone can see that he's Clark Kent but they just play along not to set him off?

I had some difficulty placing the name but not the face. RIP she was good in everything I remember her in. I think I loved her in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with Steve Martin and Michael Caine! Such a funny movie!

I love that movie! It is hilarious. That's what I remember her from. I saw Mr. Holland's Opus, but her character from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is what I always associate with her.

IMDB says pulmonary embolism. I liked her, and she seemed to be working right up until the end.

I remember my first plane trip to visit my older sister in San Diego and buying a Dick Tracey coloring book when that film came out to use on the plane. I scolded my older brother for doing a piss job at coloring. Color in one direction or circles, dumb ass!
