Puhleeze! They're only dropping him now because the heat is HOT. This so reaks of Kate Moss proportions!

By next year he'll have had half the top athletes taking up for him and have done plenty of interview crying couch tours. I swear to God... I hope one of the sluts gets pregnant

Yep. Pretty much. Yesterday I was reading a magazine (published about 3 weeks ago) with this ad on the back:

I saw the tagline, "What are you made of?" - and my automatic thought was "Hehehe... his answer would be 'gonorrhea and bullshit'."

When I read that official statement it sounds like an undercover way of saying, We're not having you be the face of our product. They just used pretty words to say, Hell to the No!

It's amazing he didn't knock anyone up (or maybe he did)!

Second that! Wish that had been "caught on tape", I admit it. I'll bring homemade snax for the hell express.

Really, I'm only paying attention for the sick humor.

I wouldn't make a big effort to avoid products associated with him, but I wouldn't buy them BECAUSE of his endorsement, that's for sure. I think that's actually the distinction here. These companies thought he'd HELP their sales and that probably is not the case now.

So although I don't care about Cheetah's personal life, and yeah, this isn't the 50's etc., still, that doesn't change the fact that he is a jerk of epic proportions. It's not that I care that he cheated on his wife particularly; it's their private life, not mine, and they don't mean anything to me.

But what does bug me is rich assholes being given carte blanche to behave as cruelly and disgustingly as they please in this world, and I AM sick of that.

When I bother to think about it, it occurs to me that no, I DON'T want to contribute to this guy's "fuck fund".

I'm shocked that non of the sluts got knocked up. If I were in their shoes, and knew that he doesn't do condoms, I'd make sure we'd have sex right around ovulation time and have my meal ticket. But I'm pretty evil.

I heard that one of them did try to get pregnant. She'd try to get together with him when she was ovulating. IIRC it's the one who is now an attorney, who hasn't come forward.

Anyway I'm surprised also that none of the others tried. Meal ticket for eighteen years.

that is so sad, but unfortunately so true.

100% agreed. I can also understand the POV of those who would boycott, and in this economy it wouldn't be hard to do. How many boys (or their parents) had to sacrifice and save up just for a pair of Nikes, and meanwhile if the reports are true, Cheetah () drops tens of thousands of dollars buying and shipping hos.

It's pretty insulting to families, and a sad commentary, that Tiger gets millions upon millions to swing a club and pose for pictures, and your everyday hard-working mom or dad is lucky to get by. Tiger couldn't have jerked off instead and donated the money he saved to buy shoes for homeless kids? Was he afraid it would hurt his golf swing?

Going on Oprah would draw out the drama, I think he'll go the late-night route a la Hugh Grant, but switch from Jay Leno and up the ante with David Letterman. Must-see adultery, only on CBS. Dual cheaters for the mutual ratings bump. Softball interview, short, upbeat.

No one will take Tiger seriously on a product, so he has to go the comedy angle. Besides the jokes on this scandal will last for years. Late night is still milking the Clinton jokes.

The man has a gazillion dollars, he doesn't ever have to golf again, or endorse anything. He can simply up and move somewhere where he's not well known or cared about for a few years, and when this all blows over (and we all know it eventually will - every good scandal does) he can come back and live a normal life.

Default Tiger Woods Dropped From Tag Heuer Ads

Swiss watch maker Tag Heuer says it will not use Tiger Woods' image in advertising campaigns in the United States for the foreseeable future.

Tag Heuer CEO Jean-Christophe Babin told Swiss daily Le Matin on Friday that the company was reacting to "recent events" surrounding the golfer.

"We recognize Tiger Woods as a great sportsman but we have to take account of the sensitivity of some consumers in relation to recent events," Babin was quoted saying.

Woods has taken an indefinite leave from golf to work on repairing his marriage after numerous allegations of infidelities.

The watch maker released a statement to CBS News after Le Matin's story was published Friday.

“The partnership with Tiger Woods will continue,” Babin said in the statement, “but we will downscale the use of his image in certain markets for a period of time, depending on his decision about returning to professional golf."

The newspaper said Tag Heuer will continue to support Woods' charitable foundation but will use other brand ambassadors in U.S. ads, including actor Leonardo Di Caprio.

The statement said Tag Heuer will continue to support Woods' charitable foundation but will use other brand ambassadors in U.S. ads, including actor Leonardo Di Caprio.

The watch maker could not immediately be reached for comment because the story was released on the newspaper's Web site after Tag Heuer's headquarters at La Chaux-de-Fonds closed for the holidays until Jan. 4. The full interview was to be published in Saturday's editions of Le Matin.

Tag Heuer joins other sponsors in backing away from Woods as his image has taken a beating since a Thanksgiving holiday car accident at the golfer's Florida home was followed by an admission of extramarital "transgressions."

Consulting firm Accenture dropped him as its representative last weekend, and Gillette said it would stop airing his ads for their razors.

Tag Heuer initially said Monday it would stand by Woods, but moderated its support later that day by saying it would assess its relationship with the world's highest-earning athlete.

I'd be interested to know what he's actually worth now he's lost all this sponsorship and endorsement revenue. I'm pretty sure his wealth is calculated based on that rather than cash in the bank. Sure he's worth a few million but I don't think he's a billionaire any more. Ha ha ha. And yes, I bet most guys if they were honest, don't have too much of a problem with his behaviour and secretly envy him, while most women are disgusted.
