I've recommended it here before, but if you haven't seen it his video Elephant Parts is worth tracking down. Brilliant and hilarious.
Did they show the Popclips on tv? I could swear I remember a Nesmith show with videos that was a summer replacement or something many moons ago.

I had a chance to see the Monkees a few years back when Mike performed with the other two and I could kick myself for not getting tickets. He didn't do their last one, it was just Micky and Peter.

Mike was always my favorite Monkee. I follow his page, but he's a little longwinded for my short attention span (that's on me, not him.) Definitely a smart and insightful guy.

    .
Yes. Popclips was on first and later he had a summer show called Television Parts. I should try to track those down

^ ok, thanks. I think what I'm remembering is Television Parts, but it wasn't showing up on his imdb as a tv serieis, just a tv movie. And then there's a compilation "home companion" but not the show itself.

Television Parts (TV Movie 1985) - IMDb

Television Parts Home Companion (Video 1985) - IMDb

If you find the episodes anywhere, post them please. I'd like to see them.

Maybe it was Elephant Parts you're thinking of?

I saw them in 2013 with Mike AND had front row seats right in front of him! It was amazing. Dude can make that guitar talk. Micky and Peter were incredible too. The Monkees were and are very talented showmen.
