This thread should be permanently above that ridiculous Leann Rimes thread.

I have had a George-heavy music day. Love it all.

I used to follow him on Facebook because his posts were actually pretty interesting (as opposed to most celebrity Facebooks), but I can't find him anymore. I started following him right before Davy Jones died, because I think that's how I found out about that.

He's still on there. He has very intelligent posts.

Mike Nesmith is very smart. He was a video industry pioneer and made a ton of money. (The concept of MTV came from Mike's Popclips).

I've recommended it here before, but if you haven't seen it his video Elephant Parts is worth tracking down. Brilliant and hilarious.

I'd take that fucking bitch Nancy Reagan out of that "Nice 80's Childhood" collage. I'd wish for her to die twice if possible.

Yes, his posts were very well written and thought-provoking and I genuinely enjoyed them. Facebook likes to take people off your feed sometimes, so I'm going to go hunting his page down again. I will definitely check out Elephant Parts, too. I didn't know that he was basically the inspiration for MTV either. Just knew that his Mom invented liquid paper...lol
