Vaya con Dios, George. Go look up Tim Russert; I'm sure he could use a couple of funny lines right about now. And, say hi to my cat too.

I was totally stunned this morning--I thought I dreamed it. It wasn't until I was listening to the NPR tribute today that I realized it was true.
Goodbye George, and thanks. RIP.

I'm so sad to hear about this.
My fiance and I loved to watch him together. Rest in peace, George. You'll always make me laugh.

I didn't realize he had remarried. I knew his wife had passed away but didn't know he has a surviving spouse until tonight when reading an obit.

They just had one of his funniest on TV-I had forgotten:
How come for humans it's an abortion-for chickens it's an omlette.
Are we so much better than chickens??

My brother & I would listen to his album Class Clown over and over again and just , of course when my parents weren't home. I still have it in my basement somewhere.
He was an original.
