This needs to be its own Showtime series. I mean, this is comedy gold from start to finish. People experiencing fury and losing their faith in God...oh OK. LOL

I’m not sure I feel sorry for a bunch of idiots who were stupid enough to pay 6K to be fed Poop nonsense for an entire weekend.

Between the other meaning of facials and the other meaning of golden shower "golden facials" sounds really bad.

Last week in Belgium, we were in a shop called DI (cheap cosmetic shop) and my teen daughter asked what the millionaire was- they had it in that shop- she thought it was for cellulite massaging, LOL. It was 34 euro's , my first thought was GOOP that thief.

And if you can online book a seminar but you are too lazy to check the roomrates before taking the seminar deal, you asked to be cheated.

If you are stupid enough to fall for nonsense like this from a well known con artist, then you deserve to lose your money.

She sells bogus pseudo-science which is despicable, but unless these people where held hostages and asked to pay more than they had agreed, this is not extortion, it's bad decision making.

Do you think that Paltrow treats her sales reps like Alec Baldwin did in "Glengarry Glen Ross"? "Yoni eggs are for closers!!!"

Tracy Anderson Defends Goop’s Wellness Summit

    July 16, 2019 / Posted by: Deirdre

Goop held a wellness summit in London and it turned that people didn’t like how steamed their vaginas got and so they complained about the price of admission, accusing Gwyneth Paltrow of being an “extortionist.” Gwyneth’s longtime friend/trainer/torture master/fellow charlatan Tracy Anderson defended the event and complained that if people are going to call out snake oil salesman then it could shut down the whole snake oil industry. SO RUDE!

    According to People:

At the end of last month, Paltrow, 46, and her lifestyle brand, which covers everything from health to beauty to style, held a wellness summit in London.

At the exclusive event, attendees were charged $5,700 for a weekend pass that included a two-night hotel stay at the Kimpton Fitzroy hotel, wellness-trend workshops, food pop-ups, a variety of speaker panels and a VIP workout with Anderson, 44, and Paltrow.

Paltrow, however, faced backlash when some attendees felt the event didn’t live up to its promise and criticized the star for ripping them off, even going so far as to call her a “pretentious, greedy extortionist.”

Someone should tell Gwyneth that’s not a compliment. I imagine Gywenth beaming with pride when she first heard, “pretentious, greedy extortionist”.

Well, Tracy wasn’t having it and pulled out her best impression of The Dude from The Big Lebowski, and was like, “that’s just, like your opinion man,” in response to all the haters.

In response to the criticism, Anderson stood up for her friend and longtime client this week by arguing that nobody was forced to attend the summit.

“It’s just options. She’s not telling anyone what to do, or what to wear,” the celebrity fitness guru told Page Six “Everyone has a voice now on social media — if you are too negative, people are going to start shutting down and communities are going to be destroyed instead of built up.”

Tracy went on to defend her own pricey gyms, claiming it’s not her fault that shit’s expensive, it’s just the world we live in and if want to live in a world with skinny people with perfectly steamed vaginas, we better pay up.

Anderson, who has six fitness studios in the United States, an outpost in Spain and a training team in London, went on to note that her gyms are also expensive, but worth the hefty price tag.

“My gyms are $900 a month,” she pointed out to Page Six. “I have been criticized time and time again, but if people really understood the craftsmanship it takes to run custom prescriptions programs at that level — in the real estate I’m in — they would understand that opportunity has a price tag. It’s just the system we live in.”

But that doesn’t necessarily mean Anderson doesn’t understand balance, either. “I also … make sure I have $9.99 DVDs,” she explained to the outlet. “I am creating options, and Goop is also creating options.”

It’s tough who to know to feel bad for. If you’re spending almost $6,000 to listen to Gwyneth Paltrow give a talk and get yelled at by her trainer, maybe that money would be better spent on some intensive therapy that questions your life choices…….just not by this guy.

That is $900/month to pay a bulimic with no PT or nutritional qualifications to tell you to starve and exercise to excess.
Didnt Gwyneth get early-onset osteoporosis with this blimp and iirc GP invested in those gyms so she’s hardly going to bite the hand that feeds her especially after she managed to fuck up her relationship with Madonna.

So Anderson was left with her original A-list client, Paltrow. And so devoted to her butt guru did the actress remain that she became a financial investor in the Tracy Anderson Method studio that opened in Manhattan (so far there are two others, in LA and a summer pop-up in the Hamptons).”
