ok. someone educate me. why does rinna always refer to her husband as HARRY HAMLIN? like she doesn't know his last name?

and dude has been investing in alt energy stuff for a while. that's probably why rinna said what she did.

I admit, I had always thought of him as some kind of toy-boy Himbo. But he is a graduate of some ivy-league college. The things you learn....

Maybe people who meet them keep thinking that his last name is Rinna?

I love Harry. I had a major crush on him when I was a kid. From Clash of the Titans.

So, Lisa and Denise have something in common, Nicolette.

I like Harry too. I... well, I can't say I knew him... more like had a passing acquaintance* with him, during the LA Law heyday. He seemed quiet, kind of serious, and very polite and respectful of the cast and crew. I just never understood how he ended up with Lisa Rinna, who is so distasteful. In all fairness, though, they seem to have a pretty great marriage. It's interesting to discover how educated he is - doesn't it bug him that his daughters don't seem to have any goal but fame?

*passing acquaintance = I knew who he was and he would smile and nod as he was passing by me, 'cause, you know, he had seen me around but had no clue who the hell I was.

I loved Lisa Rinna 1.0. There must be some real issue with someone deep down that makes them screw with their lips like she has over time. But other than that, she seems pretty bright. I don't watch Real Housewives, so I don't know if she has completely devolved into one of those infantile dopes yet. With regard to the daughters, I think once you live in LA, and your kids grow up in that scene (and are pretty attractive), it is difficult to direct them into something that is seriously academic.

She has. I've saved you a bunch of time!

I think her lips have permanent filler and there's nothing much she can do, except for look stupid. Taylor Armstrong and Lindsey Lohan seemed to have them too. It dates them as yesterday's news which is even more unfortunate.

She and "Harry Hamlin" seem to be opposites in character and it's a real shame her daughters have taken after their ditsy mother, even if they live in LA. I just hope they don't scream as much.
I have some famous friends and I have mostly not famous friends.

there are plenty of smart, good-looking people in LA. they just aren't the ones you see being papped.

To me Rinna seems like a used car salesman/grifter most of the time.

i don't see her as a grifter but clearly a trouble maker. she will do whatever it takes to get air time.

and i don't see her as some kind of brainiac. not an imbecile, but not Cal material. *shrugs*
