'BUFFY' is ditching her maiden name.
Sarah Michelle Gellar has officially changed her famous three-part name as a fifth wedding anniversary present to her husband Freddie Prinze Jr.
A source close to the 30-year-old star told Us Weekly, "She officially changed her name to Sarah Michelle Prinze" in honor of the occasion.
"On their anniversary, she showed [Freddie] her new driver's license," the source says. "It was so sweet."
Gellar and Prinze met while filming the 1997 horror film "I Know What You Did Last Summer," but didn't begin dating until three years later.
They were married in Mexico on Sept. 1, 2002.
Since "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" ended four years ago, Gellar Prinze has starred in a slew of box-office bombs and mediocre movies.
She is currently slated to appear on the cover of the December issue of Maxim.

I like that they gave their baby a beautiful and normal name.
I really like these two, they seem so nice and so normal, they've always managed to stay private and I find it very cool

I don't think it is that she doesn't eat...she does eat very healthy, and actually does pilates, and whatever else. She's always looked thin but not like she was about to collapse.

In the first two or three seasons of Buffy she was really pretty and healty looking but then she suddenly got really skinny, her posture changed for worse and her skin started to look really dark under her eye. That is why I think she doesn't eat healthy or then she eats super healty so that she isn't really healthy.

I don't know about then, but now she supposedly leaves a much "healthier" lifestyle. Her size now looks a lot different from the "thin" she was back then.

Thats all my friends and I talk about. Every time we hear news about her we scream 'WHAT HAPPENED TO BUFFY', 'WHAT DID FREDDIE DO TO HER'?! Compare the first seasons of 'Buffy' with any 'Scooby Doo' movie or even later seasons. Im almost tempted to compare her to Nicole Richie.
