It's probably the only hair style I haven't had. My wife bought them for me, and the things cost like $80 to $100, so I got in the habit of wearing them.

Way back at an older company, we had this 350-pound IT guy who, every damn day, wore Bermuda shorts, flip flops, and a t-shirt that was two sizes to small. Can you imagine the sound of a 350-pound guy walking around in flip flops?

LOL...as for the thing about Brown, I think it's because it's a hippie, man-sandal wearing kind of studentship as opposed to someone from Harvard, who hopefully, would not be caught dead in a pair of flip-flops.

I'd say they aren't as bad, Mohandas. They don't have that alien piece of plastic/fabric/Devil's finger that goes between the toes.
