I personally think he is hot as hell!!
Like others have said, he seems to have had that rep for a while-why bother to hire him if you already know that?

He's very intelligent. It must drive him crazy putting up with the Hollywood studio system. I love most of his work, can't tell you what he's like in person as I've never run into him.

I don't care. I still think he's hot. He can be the biggest asshole alive and it doesn't matter to me, its not like he's coming over for tea. I'll just watch "Fight Club" again, thanks.

Yeah, that curb scene still gives me chills today when I think about it. They actually had Tony do the same thing to a guy in the Sopranos. And it gave me chills again.

I think what made his performance in AHX so good was that he played skinhead Derek and reformed Derek so well that it seemed like it was two different actors playing the part.

I can handle just about anything in films, but that part...concrete scraping against teeth...GAH! And then what follows. SO disturbing.

I agree, Derek's transformation before and after in that film really shows Norton's range. So far, IMO it's his best performance. He was excellent in the 25th Hour as well.

I'm guessing, after reading the comments in his thread, he's very talented and he draws the crowds. He must be worth the hassle to the money makers.

I agree. He's a good actor, but he hasn't done anything that tops AHX yet.

This isn't exactly the first time he's pulled something like this. He did something similar with American History X

    via IMDB:
Edward Norton was said to have re-edited the film to lengthen his screen time. Director Tony Kaye then attempted to get his name removed but violated a Directors' Guild of America rule that states that directors that use pseudonyms (such as "Alan Smithee") must not talk about why they had their name removed - which Tony Kaye had done in ads in Variety. Kaye sued the DGA and New Line Cinema for $200 million stating that the DGA rule violated his first amendment rights.

I just saw the preview for The Incredible Hulk, and it kicks ass!!!! I can't WAIT to see it.

I never saw the remake from a few years ago~ I heard it was dreadful and decided against watching it.

I think he's trying to make sure there isn't another "Death to Smoochie" in his life!

What a dipshit. He's an actor, albeit a talented one, he should just show up and do his job.

Not short. He's 6 feet tall.

He's very talented, but his credibility has waned enormously. He should have just stuck to acting and stopped reminding everyone he went to Yale. A little humility goes a long way. Most celebs don't realize that. Well, pretty much all of them don't realize that except, like, Tom Hanks.

The director said American History X was not the movie he wanted to make, Norton changed the entire ending.
Since we never saw the directors version we'll never know which one was better but I did like American History X even though I watched through my fingers.

I have liked his acting in every movie he's been in but sometimes he's over rated like his performance in Kingdom of Heaven. He's a good actor with issues. Salma Hayek said she would never marry him even though they dated for years, he's a mean drunk.

I believe this one - he's always been a diva.
