Duggars Just Confirmed 20th Child on Way!

I predict it'll be less than a year before the next Duggar kid is married off. And Josh'll announce that they're knocked up again too.

Those Duggar girls aren't going anywhere. They are the work horses of that house.

The next boy is trying to become a volunteer fireman or something. Unless Jim Bob comes up with a job for him, like he did for Josh (who still lives at granny's house), then Son #2 isn't getting married anytime soon.

JD actually has his 'own' towing company. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets married off soon.

These people severely overestimate the appeal that their doughy Christian bodies would have on the rest of the population.

Those kids have been raised with no education or skills so it is very hard for them to find any legit jobs. And the girls aren't supposed to have jobs at all. The only time any of the daughters will leave the house is when they get married off to another fundie. Otherwise Jim Bob and Michelle are going to go bankrupt eventually having to support 19 adults.

And not if they bore everyone to death. It's been too quiet on their front for a long time. I just hope whatever happens next is not another dead baby. Michelle's ass is next if she doesn't stop this stupid horseshit.

I vote for the next bit of excitement to be one of these girls running off with cousin Amy and ending up on the pole. Or one of these kids is gay (though I would feel it tragic for whichever poor kid this is) and they flip shit and he/she ends up at pray-the-gay-away camp.

The more kids you have, the more likely they are to be gay, so I'd bet my eyeteeth that a few of them are (my mom has 3 gay brothers in a family of 11 siblings). Those poor kids, having to grow up in the hyper-sex-negative Gothardite cult.

Most of the people who are on TLC have never heard of it. The Duggars, Sister Wives, and My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding all show women who are controlled by the men in their lives.

That's the basic programming over on TLC. Even Amy Roloff, who I used to like, belongs to Family First which sends lots of money to support Traditional Marriage Amendments. A producer, for shows like this, showed up on another board. I had it out with her over their consistently backwards views of women, marriage and families.

Duggars start new season, going for baby 20

When it comes to the Duggar family, apparently 19 isn’t enough.
Michelle and Jim Bob say they’re still trying to make it an even 20 – though they know that might be tough.
“I think that it will be a sad day for me whenever I know that we’re not able to have any more,” Michelle Duggar told TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie Friday. “But we’ll look forward to grandbabies. We’re definitely enjoying the ones we’ve got right now. So, hopefully we won’t have that empty nest syndrome.”
The entire Duggar family appeared on the show this morning to give an update and to talk about their reality TV show on TLC.
When asked whether they were actively trying to add another baby to their big brood, Jim Bob said, “We really consider each child a blessing from God. And each of our children are glad to be here. Aren’t you guys? They love their brothers and sisters.” The Duggar family children's ages range from two-and-a-half to 24.
Even if Michelle and Jim Bob don't have another baby, the Duggar family will probaby keep growing. Guthrie asked oldest Duggar son Josh and his wife Anna, who have two young children, if they were going to continue the Duggar family tradition of a big family.
"We would love more," Anna told TODAY.

That, according to Guinness World Records, belongs to a Russian woman who in the 1700s gave birth to a stunning 69 babies in 27 deliveries. That record is the result 16 sets of twins, seven sets of triplets and four sets of quadruplets.
