I know very little about Dr. Drew, and even less about anorexia, but I remember hearing him say on his CNN show that he is addicted to exercising. He and his wife sound pretty superficial.

I find his ch-chi's distracting. Men in their 50s/60s don't usually have that kind of muscle mass without some kind of help.
My dad had pecs and arms like this in his 50's and 60's and he doesn't take anything. He's 70 now and the chest is a tad smaller, but he's still got the guns. But he lifts weights 3-4x a week and runs daily. He's got a slimmer midsection than Drew here. In fact, if I'm in half as good shape as either of my parents when I reach their age I will be satisfied.

Now that I think about it, this is a fairly common phenomenon in my gym -- guys that are very muscular and strong - way more than me. But seem to have a gut despite all their work. However, I don't know why someone would work so hard on one aspect of their body and then sort of sabotage it by not doing something about the other parts.

I don't know either.
I thought that I was pretty well informed on nutrition & stuff until I (needed to) set myself a goal to lose some serious weight - that I hadn't really realised was an issue.
I am better now but it's very hard and one has to be vigilant all the time to avoid hidden sugars, etc....
